I am a strategic leader, critical thinker, problem solver and technology advocate. I have travelled a path through engineering, change management, business consulting, transport operations and technology leadership. This has led me to start petal-advisory – an advisory service focused on transport, technology and change.

My early career was in engineering, where I nurtured a life-long interest in understanding how things work, and how new and emerging technology could do amazing things. That bought me to transport and ITS – a world ripe for disruption and innovation, with several areas going through transformative change.

I quickly learnt that despite emerging tech being amazing, nothing would change if it failed to deliver genuine business outcomes – customer, operational, safety, efficiencies etc. This led me to develop my commercial acumen and business skills enabling me to work across these disciplines in pursuit of technology that delivered lasting value.

And that’s what I’ve been doing for the past 20+ years. My experience spans technology application in major projects, operational performance programs, innovation initiatives and asset management.

My strength and passion is in working across (and translating across) technical, operational and business disciplines to deliver enduring change in our transport eco-systems.
